No More Cruising in the Cavalier
I managed to sell our car for 1000 dollars (292, 000 kilometers strong!). The new owner(s) mentioned they would be putting rims on it and one of the gentleman pointed out his stab wound. I decided to take one last picture with my lovely car, I also asked one of the new owners to jump into the photo! I did my best gangster impression. They even offered me a ride home, what nice young men!

The Morning After
Last night the Vancouver Canucks lost the Stanley Cup to Boston. Vancouver fans started to riot in the streets lighting cars on fire, smashing stores and looting. Here is a photo I took this morning in downtown Vancouver. People have decided to write messages on the boarded-up walls. There are so many things to riot over but a hockey game?

The Story
I decided to create this blog to document my move to a Costa Rican cloud forest. I currently reside in the heart of downtown Vancouver, in a 400 sq ft bachelor apartment with my Fiancee and one year old German Sheppard puppy. My fiancee and I decided to move to the Costa Rican cloud forest at the end of June to help out at an eco-lodge. Our long term goal is to buy land, live sustainably and in balance with nature. We will be living off the grid producing our own food and power.
I will be updating my blog as much as possible so you can come along on my journey!
